I would consider myself lucky to have had Mark Byrnes as the instructor. He was fantastic. He pitched it at the right level and managed to get our foreign students involved in the process, despite language barriers. He was also exceptionally knowledgeable on the subject. I think it is an excellent skill to have gained and it will serve me well in Defence across a number of levels. Thanks again.

Instructor Mark Byrnes, was very good. Lively presenter, lots of firsthand knowledge of a very wide range of incidents, enthusiastic, welcomed questions. And he had an unexpected (to me) depth of knowledge of a lot of the procedures, processes and people behaviour in his examples. He went to great pains to make sure all had a proper grasp of the core procedures and principles – i.e. 7 steps, evidence-based analysis, causal factors, root cause table etc.
